Course Objectives A) Understand the typical presentation, the assessment of, and the treatment of: * Disorders of the cervical facet joints. * Upper cervical biomechanical dysfunction. * Cervical neuropathic pain. * Impairments of cervical motor control. * Disorders of the cervical disc. * Myofascial trigger points unique to the cervical spine. B) Have a new understanding of published, evidence-based WAD guidelines. C) Understand features of the Biopsychosocial model as it applies to physiotherapy management of neck pain. D) Understand multiple referral options for treatment-resistant neck pain. *8:30am start time. There is a break for lunch (lunch not included) and the course finishes at 4:30pm.
